ATAVISM - END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Parallel Minds, Lyon, France, version 1, September 2026

Please read this agreement before installing. By installing or using Atavism you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install the software.

1. WHAT YOU GET
Atavism is an audio plug-in (VST3 and Audio Unit), delivered as software and a personal license key. Parallel Minds grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Atavism on up to three computers that you own or control, for any purpose, commercial music included.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
You may not sell, rent, lend, sublicense or share the software or your license key; reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it except where the law expressly allows it; or remove or work around the license mechanism. One person, one key: a key is issued to a named e-mail address and may be revoked if it is shared.

3. DEMO MODE
Without a valid key the plug-in runs in demo mode: fully functional, but the output is muted for two seconds at the end of every minute. Entering your key in the plug-in removes this limitation; no internet connection is required.

4. OWNERSHIP
The software, its algorithms, presets, manual and artwork remain the property of Parallel Minds. Music you make with Atavism is entirely yours.

5. THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
Atavism includes open-source components. Each is governed by its own licence, not by this Agreement; those licences are installed with the software.

6. NO WARRANTY
Atavism is provided "as is". Parallel Minds does not warrant that it is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose, and is not liable for any loss of data, work or profit arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law. If the software is defective, your remedy is a repair, a replacement or a refund of the price paid, at Parallel Minds' choice.

7. UPDATES AND SUPPORT
Updates within the same major version are free. Support: info@parallel-minds.studio.

8. LAW
This agreement is governed by French law. Any dispute goes to the courts of Lyon, France, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
