Parallel Minds

Studio

One studio, two tools.

Parallel Minds builds audio software for people who make things with sound: musicians, sound designers, game audio people, anyone with a folder of field recordings and an idea about what to do with them.

Every product started the same way: as something we wanted for ourselves and could not buy. Reverie came out of wanting an hour of usable ambience from a thirty-second recording without hand-editing it. Atavism came out of wanting a pad that is already in key, because it is made of the track itself.

How we work

We prototype, break things, and ship when it feels right. No roadmap, no quarterly release theatre. If a feature is not in the build yet, it is because it is not good enough yet.

What we do not do

  • No subscriptions. You buy a version, you own that version.
  • No accounts to use the software.
  • No telemetry inside the products. On this site, a self-hosted page counter without cookies, and nothing else unless you write to us or ask for the newsletter. The details are in the privacy policy.

Talk to us

Bug reports, feature requests, licence trouble, or just to say something works: the contact page goes to a person who reads everything.

New products and updates, by email.

A message when something ships, a few a year. Nothing else, and one click to leave.
