1.1.1 · The panel on every macOS 11

  • On some Macs running macOS 11, the Atavism window opened with no knobs. It now shows everywhere.
  • If the window ever fails to open, the plug-in says so and offers to reload it, instead of staying half drawn.
  • Same plug-in on Windows: nothing changes there.

1.1.0 · Now in Pro Tools

  • Atavism comes as an AAX plug-in too, on macOS and Windows, for Pro Tools 2025.6 or later.
  • Same key, same presets: nothing to buy or set up again, and the other formats are unchanged.

1.0.2 · Two crashes fixed

  • Adding Atavism to a track no longer crashes it, and the other instances in the session keep playing.
  • Reopening a session no longer hangs.

1.0.0 · The first release

  • One knob takes you from the untouched track to a pad made of its harmony.
  • Three dosers (Pulsation, Shimmer, Mix), two filters on the pad, eight factory presets.
  • MIDI learn on every control, nine automatable parameters.
  • VST3 and AU on macOS 11 or later, VST3 on Windows 10 and 11.
